Class/Self Evaluation

 What i liked about this class is that I'm able to learn more about typography and i could get better on my typing skills. This class has helped understand more about typing without having to look at my keyboard. Something i didn't like about the class are the religion related quotes we would have to explain, the fact that it annoys one with all the typing that is around. Some suggestions to improving the class would be learning about other things on the computer like how to change wallpapers or just something more fun. Yes,i did do my best in this class even tho i did get in a bit of trouble but i still kept my grade xD. I am not committed to being a CTR person because when it comes to business, one must do whatever it takes to succeed even if it means fooling people just ask Donald Trump xD.

By being kind to others you automatically become a good person to them.This quote is letting us know that if you are kind to everyone at all time you tend to become a great friend to those people.Then those people will help you out with everything you need help on to become great and that leads to success.

A person that is a companion with wise men learns from them, learns helpful things, and is wise.Yet when a person is accompanied by fools he learns foolish and unhelpful things.

Thanksgiving...

Most of us associate the holiday with happy Pilgrims and Indians sitting down to a big feast.  And that did happen - once. 

In 1637 near present day  Groton, Connecticut, over 700 men, women and children of the Pequot Tribe had gathered for their annual Green Corn Festival which is our Thanksgiving celebration. In the predawn hours the sleeping Indians were surrounded by English and Dutch mercenaries who ordered them to come outside.  Those who came out were shot or clubbed to death while the terrified women and children who huddled inside the longhouse were burned alive. The next day the governor of the Massachusetts Bay Colony declared "A Day Of Thanksgiving" because 700 unarmed men, women and children had been murdered.Cheered by their "victory", the brave colonists and their Indian allies attacked village after village. Women and children over 14 were sold into slavery while the rest were murdered. Boats loaded with a many as 500 slaves regularly left the ports of New England. Bounties were paid for Indian scalps to encourage as many deaths as possible. Following an especially successful raid against the Pequot in what is now  Stamford, Connecticut, the churches announced a second day of "thanksgiving" to celebrate victory over the heathen savages.  During the feasting, the hacked off heads of Natives were kicked through the streets like soccer balls.  Even the friendly Wampanoag did not escape the madness. Their chief was beheaded, and his head impaled on a pole in Plymouth, Massachusetts -- where it remained on display for 24 years.

Reflection:
  It is simply saying that we should always aim to do what is right and always speak the truth. Doing what is right means speaking the truth at all times. It also means that when you are going to do something you have to do whats right.speaking the truth means you will have more people around you that trust you instead of making them think wrong of you. Doing what is the right thing to do means that you are less in place of getting in trouble or any other type of bad consequence. When you are speaking the truth and do what is right you them become a person of trust and value. More people would want to hang out with you. This is better because no one wants to be rejected all the time because they lie and always do wrong, no one would want to be around them. 

Veteran’s Day

Veteran’s Day is an official United States federal holiday that is observed annually on November 11, honoring people who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces, also known as veterans.

1.       Commemorated as Armistice Day beginning the following year, November 11th became a legal federal holiday in the United States in 1938. In the aftermath of World War II and the Korean War, Armistice Day became Veterans Day, a holiday dedicated to American veterans of all wars.

2.       It is important that we show honor in veteran’s day because we are letting our veteran’s know that we do appreciate them and what they do to protect this wonderful country.

i agree with his quote because its true. when u help someone you feel happy and relax . when is what recreation means to relax. we sometime think that do good is a job,but its not it really your break time. we need to do good because it helps you and the people you help. For example, Maria get good grade and works hard that helping to win the basketball games. when so want to relax she goes to the retirement home to help out. she says it relax her seeing the smiles  of the people so helps. she love it because it help her relax but its also helping them. that's why i agreed with this quote.

one example of right is right is following school rules even tho people are against them and ditching class is something wrong even tho people want to do it.

Health educator

Duties and responsibilities:  Health educators teach people about behaviors that promote wellness. They develop and implement strategies to improve the health of individuals and communities.

Salary:  $50,197 - $67,677

Education:  Many Health educators need a bachelor’s degree employers require the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) credential. Requirements for community health workers vary, although they typically have at least a high school diploma and must complete a brief period of on-the-job training. Some states have certification programs for community health workers.

Reflection:  Health educators teach people about behaviors that promote wellness. xMany Health educators need a bachelor’s degree

       it is better to to be known and trusted than to be a bad person and have all the riches in the world. I honestly disagree because once once you have riches, why should you care about what other people say about you...they are just hating on your accomplishment. Knowledge is bliss.

Healthcare administer

Duties and Responsibilities:  Health administrators are leaders. They head up hospitals, physician group practices, nursing homes and home health agencies.

Salary: $40,000 - $110,000

Education: Degrees in health management/administration are available at the baccalaureate, master's and doctoral levels.

Reflection: Health administrators are either specialists or generalists. Specialists head up specific clinical departments or services, while generalists manage (or help to manage)  entire facilities or systems.

this quote tells people that if your friends are urging you to do something that is wrong than you should stand up to them and encourage them to choose the right.peer pressure is a common thing and most people fall into it in order to fit in. when they fall into to it, most of the time will end up in some bad consequences. this quote lets you know that if u stand up to those who encourage you to do wrong then you might encourage them to choose the right with you.you wont be cool by  doing what your friends want but you will end up in alot of trouble.

 What i think this quote means is that someone who is a CTR person is someone who lets the best show and who is himself.

Reflection: i feel good when i do good and feel bad when i do bad i guess idk. I feel this way because knowing that you worked hard for it makes you feel like your capable of doing anything. Yet when u do something bad you feel guilty and stay with that guilt and it does not feel good.

If the key to freedom is obedience the more we obey the more freedom we have with myself and others. If i start to obey more often in class I will have more freedom around the classroom.

Reflection: in my own opinion this quote by Thomas S. Manson means that every decision made in the present is going to affect the the future. Every decision to decide to take weather its good or bad, will effect your future in a good or bad way.'

Optician

Optician

Duties and responsibilities: An optician is someone who helps people get a better vision. They are the eye experts who specialize in correcting people's vision. Opticians are qualified to design and fit lenses of all types and give them to their patients. These lenses could be spectacle lenses (glasses), contact lenses, products called low-vision aids (magnified lenses or larger font), or even opthalmic prosthetics (artificial eyes, also known as an ocular prosthesis) for people with partial sight.

Education: Most opticians have at least a high school diploma. Opticians typically learn job skills through formal on-the-job programs.
